The magic of Tanzania has always been unbeatable, thanks to the kind of experience it provides to its travellers. With the infinite number of choices to choose from, ranging from remarkable safaris to peaceful surroundings and the highest mountain in the African continent.
Sometimes, we all want a vacation filled with cultures and luxurious relaxation. The one that you may find on a European continent or an idyllic Asian island. But other times, you just want to take an adventure filled with an edge of excitement that is only possible in Tanzania.
It’s here where you can go for safaris, dine with the friendliest locals and hike up the peaks of Africa. If you close your eyes and try to imagine a romantic African getaway, we promise you’ll only imagine Tanzania.
The drama of the migration of the wildebeest, the glorious views of the glaciers of the Mount Kilimanjaro, the iconic statue of the Masaai warriors with exotic beaches on the Spice Islands; it has all of this here. Tanzania has some of the most impressive attractions that will leave you quite speechless.
Home to more than 120 ethnic groups and cultures, each with a distinctive feature of its own, Tanzania gives you an overview of the African life. Like we said, there’s more than just safaris here. There are sites to visit from the ancient times of the slave trade in Africa and one among the richest ancient cultures of the world through the life of the Maasai people that still remains unchanged for decades.
Tanzania takes “offbeat travel” to another level. You’ll have the craziest bus rides, watch animals roam freely and almost everything being sold on the road while you gaze at the landscapes of the country.
- Enjoy a hot balloon safari
A Serengeti Balloon Safari is not something you should miss out on if you’re heading to Tanzania. When the sun rises, the silence of the flight can be heard since it is so peaceful and tranquil.
The silence is only blasted by the chirp of the birds or the roar of the animals far beneath. It’s a thrilling adventure, quite indescribable.
- Find your perfect pair of Kanga
Kangas is a must have in any Tanzanian wardrobe you check out. They’re a rectangular piece of cloths with different patterns that could be worn as per your mood and status.
They have bright colours, geometrical symmetries and are even a perfect African souvenir to take back home.
- Get a real taste of Tanzanian food
While Tanzania is known to the world for its wildlife and beauty, the Tanzanian cuisine remains unnoticed. The food in Tanzania is largely associated with a variety of meats with curries.
But, if you dig a little deeper, you may end up finding dishes that have the freshness of the local mangoes and coconuts.
